New portal offers personalized programs to engage participants in improving health and well-being while having fun

Plymouth Meeting, PA, September 13, 2016 —West Corporation, a leading provider of communication services, today announced the launch of its online Wellness Challenge Portal and ClientConnect, the latest enhancements to Health Advocate’s comprehensive Wellness Program.

The newly designed Wellness Challenge Portal offers participants more than 20 all-new challenges, plus new health trackers including a focus on resiliency and easy tracking of biometric results, among many others. Designed to optimize the user experience, the Wellness Challenge Portal is easy to navigate and can be connected with nearly 100 different fitness devices and apps to enable participants to sync their health data.

The Wellness Challenge Portal makes it easy to send email notifications to participants reminding them to track their progress on various health and well-being activities, motivating them to exercise, eat nutritiously, drink enough water, improve their sleep, and be more mindful of their health. In addition to support for employees working toward individual goals, organizations as well as groups of employees also have the ability to set up focused challenges that encourage fun competitions between colleagues and teams, increasing engagement levels.

While new challenges will be added to the Portal’s library throughout the year, organizations can also create custom challenges in addition to those available. The Wellness Challenge Portal offers a number of other customizable capabilities to further enhance engagement.
