It\u2019s a quiet crisis unfolding in offices and on video calls across the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>More than 1 in 4 adults in the U.S. are caregivers, and most are juggling work at the same time. Many are navigating the emotional, logistical, and financial complexities of caring for a loved one with Alzheimer\u2019s or dementia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The impact?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>61% of caregivers are employed<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>$33B+ lost annually in productivity<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>23% say their own health is suffering<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>In our recent webinar, <a href=\"https:\/\/healthadvocate.com\/video\/CaregivingWebinarMiniseries-AlzheimersAndDementia_0625.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong><em>Understanding Alzheimer\u2019s \u200band Dementia: \u200bWhat employers need to know to support caregivers<\/em>\u200b,<\/strong><\/a> we explored how employers can build inclusive cultures that support caregivers across all levels of the organization.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At Health Advocate, we believe caregiving support should be a core part of any workplace benefit strategy. Through our Generations program, employees caring for aging adults receive one-on-one guidance from a dedicated Nurse Coach and team of experts who help manage the complexity of care\u2014from understanding Medicare, to coordinating long-term support, to providing emotional counseling and financial guidance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Early intervention is key.
