Being stretched so thin takes a toll on the caregiver\u2019s health and personal life. Without the right support, caregiving employees are at risk of absenteeism, presenteeism, and even dropping out of the workforce\u2014which is costly in terms of productivity and dollars wasted.<\/p>\n<p>Health Advocate recently surveyed 350 working caregivers to better understand the impact of caregiving as well as how employers and their benefit solution providers can effectively support this growing group. Unsurprisingly, we learned that this unique group is stressed, challenged with balancing caregiving tasks with work and other personal needs.
