How Does Health Advocate Work?

  • Members call us with an issue or problem.
  • You are assigned to your own Personal Health Advocate, typically a highly trained registered nurse. Your PHA is supported by a team of medical directors and administrative experts who also work to help you.
  • When you call the first time you will be asked to complete a simple one-page Authorization Form providing us with your permission to work on your behalf.
  • We work to solve your problems and support your needs.

Health Advocate can be accessed 24/7.  Our normal business hours are Monday - Friday between 8am and 9pm Eastern Time.  After hours and during weekends, on-call staff is always available for assistance with issues that need to be addressed during non business work hours.
